ATAILJA AZUL  is a blue-grey coloured limestone, with a a thin and uniform background. Sometimes it presents occasional well-defined dark blue veins. One of the hardest limestones available it is also one of the few grey-coloured limestones quarried in Portugal.

Due to its considerable hardness and limited size of most blocks (these present natural fissures), the Ataija Azul is ideal for external paving of considerable thickness but small dimensions. Ataija Azul is also the preferred limestone to be used on diverse landscaping, cladding, and decoration.
