High Resistance Technology

Amorim Wise Cork Inspire Fashionable Grafite AA8M001 is formed of a waterproof multilayered cork structure, with nature and technology at its core. Non-PVC and sustainable climate positive, the flooring is suitable for domestic and heavy commercial traffic.

Corks natural touch is combined with High Resistance Technology (HRT), resulting in a warm to touch, comfortable to walk on surface, yet durable and wear resistance. This is due to its micro scratch resistance, which also prevents colour shading.

Durability

Amorim Wise Cork Inspire Fashionable Grafite AA8M001 combines all the benefits of cork with the latest technology. A flooring solution that provides a cost effective, easy to install, easy to maintain flooring solution that combines durability with sustainability.

Waterproof

Amorim Wise Cork Inspire Fashionable Grafite AA8M001 is waterproof, which is perfect for installation in bathroom, kitchen, and utility room making it ideal for open plan living or studio flats.

Sustainability

The desire to phase out fossil fuels in favour of renewables is only part of the narrative surrounding sustainability. Where we can we should be adding to how carbon is captured, not simply replacing like with like. Take the materials used for the manufacturing of flooring. Whereas solid or veneered timber flooring requires trees to be chopped down, cork bark for cork flooring does not. This is because cork bark is harvested from the cork oak tree by stripping the bark with axes. As a result no trees are felled, and the cork tree can live for 200 years. This not only benefits us now but enriches future generations.

Potential energy savings

Cork is formed of a unique cellular structure that doesn’t absorb dust, so it is hygienic, and helps protect against allergies. Natural gaseous components enclose small impermeable compartments formed of suberin and ceroids, resulting in a moisture-resistant, wipeable floor. Cork flooring has a low thermal conductivity, enabling heat retention and an optimal temperature all year round, which could result in lower energy use  and lower utility bills. Amorim Wise Cork Inspire Originals Shell AA8E001 is compatible with underfloor or radiant heating systems.
