Encaustic cement tiles, handmade by artisans near Barcelona. Made to a traditional method dating back to the beginning of the 20th Century, when a number of renowned architects and artists – including Antonio Gaudi – used cement tiles to create an entirely new and unique graphic language.
Each tile is handmade, and some imperfections may occur. However, these attributes add to the character and patina of the tile.

NON-SLIP TREATMENT OPTION
Non-slip treatment applied to the hydraulic tile, which transforms the smooth texture of the tile surface in a totally uniform rough texture. This system can be applied to all tiles.
An applied texture allows the hydraulic tiles to be installed in wet areas (bathrooms, spas, swimming pools, etc) and outdoor areas (porch, pathways, gardens, terraces, etc)
Tiles meet the Class 3 according to UNE ENV12633: 2003
TILE TREATMENT & MAINTENANCE OPTIONS
- CLEANER – Ideal for cleaning tiles once installed. Removes cement and salt efflorescent, domestic stains from daily use, and for the restoration of old hydraulic floor tiles.
- WAX – Offers extra protection and allows for the most distressed and brightest finish to the tile
- WATERPROOF SEALANT – A very resistant barrier against future stains on hydraulic tiles. Seals the existing pores in the hydraulic mosaic, creating a superficial layer with great durability.
- WATERPROOF BRIGHT SEALANT – With identical characteristics to the Waterproof Sealant, Waterproof Bright Sealant will highlight the colour of the tile, to provide the brightest finish to your tile.
